The closing days of September are asking us to continue to rise above strife and hold the light. We’re at that place on the rollercoaster track where we say aloud “hang on for this part,” bracing but also knowing this too shall pass.
On Monday, SEPTEMBER 28, “what we love” (Venus) and how our “emotions are reacting” (Moon) are in opposition, generally creating sensitivity. It’s a quick transit but worth mentioning given the continued frustration with the Mars/Saturn tension. So be aware emotions could show up Monday around a goal or project you’re working on.
SEPTEMBER 28, 29, 30, Mars squares Saturn in exact degree heightening tensions and squabbles. There’s more to come as freedom is being highlighted with further dialogue by governments regarding increasing restrictions on what’s deemed nonessential. There is a continuation of issues like receiving unwelcoming rhetoric and vandalism when travelling out of province, various groups protesting, rash election speculation, etc. Heightened emotions may be bringing things to a head in these few days. But tension brings decisions. Let’s keep our ears open for the innovations coming. There’s a lot at play and the cosmos are here to help.
Saturn stations direct on SEPTEMBER 29 bringing our attention into the now and away from the rear-view mirror. Have we learned from re-visiting during retrograde so we can move forward safely and effectively? This is an opportunity to check yourself. What was going on in your life six months ago? Saturn retrograde was a time to reflect and re-establish plans to work differently or passionately at something It serves in re-orienting our self-discipline and work ethic. It offers us another chance. Saturn gets a bad wrap, but it’s truly our friend!
While October energetically is a month for beginning new ideas and projects, it’s also harvest time and a time to move forward toward transition. OCTOBER 2020 is a pivotal and dynamic month for change as it represents the energy of the number five. Five speaks to resourcefulness, courage, vitality, life lessons through experiences, multi-tasking, adventure, competition, life choices… and more. We’re in Libra season, representing balance with the scales of justice, love and beauty. This pot of energy has created the perfect recipe where holding our vibrational frequency high, and making right choices falls into place with grace. And in Libra terms, we can do it in style and beauty and take in the bounty of the harvest! Always silver linings in change!
The Moon is in the waxing gibbous phase, and succinctly represents the budding of the seed planted back at the last New Moon. It now holds the prospects of growth and fruition. This is the cycle leading up to the full moon where passions for accomplishing changes, goals and projects are really felt. Here we come Full Moon.
OCTOBER 1 is the Full Moon in Aries. This is the first of two full moons this month! Aries is fire, get up and go, energy to burn, ruled by Mars. This Full Moon is going to activate emotion courtesy of Mars, Saturn and the retrogrades. The days leading up to it, practice self care with quiet time, journaling and clearing the toxins from your body and thoughts. Ask yourself from the space of your heart: “What it is you really need?” This is vital in moving through and rising above the heated emotions and the drama being felt on both personal and global platforms.
On the weekend you may feel a need to assert your position. Be aware of bumping heads if you don’t like what you hear. Watch your words – you can’t take them back.
Sunday, OCTOBER 4, Pluto stations direct. Still in proximal conjunction with Jupiter, the drive and motivation for transformation has an extra boost. Pluto is concerned with transformation, re-birthing, power and control. It highlights what needs to change, leave and come out of the shadows. During retrograde, going to the depths of what needs to change is being asked of us. And did it ever this time! Now that it’s direct, we will see more clearly now the changes required of us. I expect we’ll become aware of new information brought forward that will hold the key. Hold the Light my friends… Divine Flow.
Ask Yourself This Week:
“Am I in flow? Am I witnessing myself and my thoughts consciously? And am I willing to heal whatever is blocking my flow?”
We are powerful, capable beings. We can choose to be a disciple. That is the practice of discipline through becoming aware of our own thoughts. When we are aware, we can channel our thoughts to redirect or discard what isn’t serving us. It’s a daily practice, an everyday awareness, hence a discipline. This is Saturn leading us toward our purpose. It’s not necessarily friendly, or mothering; rather it’s the task master who we may not feel affection for but know she has our best interest at heart. Train your mind, improve your life.
Crystal This Month: AMETRINE
Ametrine is a mixture of Amethyst and Citrine. The vibration of this crystal is amplified by the combination of these two quartz varieties. It has wonderful healing properties. It also helps with connecting to the higher energies of the crown. It helps with focus and balances the feminine and masculine energies within. Think of your crown as your “knowing center” and your focus as your “‘will center” which is your solar plexus chakra located in the center of your torso. When I am writing, I like to have one on my table next to me. When I meditate for inspiration, holding or placing Ametrine in my hand or setting it next to my altar connects me to the energy. When out in the world this crystal supports you – place one in your pocket.
I’m looking forward to sharing more about the Cosmos with you again next week…
