Pisces: Dream Your Dreams
by Gagan Mann ~
Spring is almost on the horizon and the month of Pisces should feel like a cool breeze on a blistering day.
As a collective we have been working with challenges both big and small. March should be somewhat of a relief with a little imagination and a lot of heart. It’s a month to dream our dreams and have faith in ourselves and humankind.
Pisces (the mutable water sign) is about oneness, faith, union, dreams, imagination, intuition and escapism. Pisces is ruled by Jupiter (traditional) and Neptune. Neptune (being the generational planet) shows us that, as a collective, we are experiencing all kinds of emotions that have accumulated over time and we have now been given the opportunity to change the world we live in. Piscean archetypes are the mystic, the dreamer, the poet and the face dancer.
This month we get to really swim in Piscean waters, with Jupiter and Neptune helping to navigate through hard places in ourselves and the world around us. Jupiter brings a little luck and Neptune brings the faith.
February 18 to March 19 – Sun in Pisces conjuncts Jupiter in Pisces. This creates a big spotlight on who and what you see yourself as in the world. Sensitivities can be at a high. Even though Jupiter brings auspiciousness and luck, it can also expand the shadow side of things. Be mindful of doing too much. You may investigate how to expand yourself through learning about all things that are mystical.
February 24 to March 5 – Sun sextiles Uranus in Taurus. Opportunities for insights and creative change will present themselves for individuals and the collective.
March 2 – We have a new moon in Pisces. This moon is set in good fertile soil as it conjuncts the benefactor Jupiter. These are a good couple of days to start something which has immense potential to expand. Creativity can be heightened and the imagination has the ocean as its canvas.
March 2 – Mercury conjuncts Saturn in Aquarius. Themes of friendship, community and social groups may have an opportunity to be checked. It’s a good time to look at what these interactions mean to you. Communication in groups can have a negative tone as Saturn demands respect and responsibility.
March 2 to March 24 – Sun conjuncts Neptune in Pisces. Sensitivities are very high around others; be mindful of your own boundaries. When there is so much of the water element, it can be difficult to see where you end and other begins.
March 3 – Venus and Mars conjunct Pluto. We talked about this aspect in February and it is still very prevalent. This intense energy looks at what we want and how to get it. Pluto adds the extra force and intensity to the recipe. Pluto shows us the reality of things as they are and this can be difficulty to face.
March 7 to March 27 – Venus in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus and…
March 7 to April 6 – Mars in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus. Both of these aspects are about the fixed energy of letting change happen while also holding on very tight because of fear. Oppression will continue until revolution takes place. The war continues as neither party are willing to budge. Uranus makes changes very quickly but since it’s active in Taurus, it must slow down, making the process of change feel like ages before it takes place.
March 10 – Mercury enters Pisces. Our thoughts and perceptions move from the air element to the water, making things more visceral. For the next two weeks, our intellect might be attracted to more artistic pursuits and creativity rather than information.
March 18 – Full Moon in Virgo. This is a day of practicality and focusing on details. It could be a good day to consider doing some organization or decluttering.
March 19 to April 4 – Venus, Mars and Saturn hang close to each other creating a stellium in Aquarius. This fixed air quality is all about digging in our heels and not giving up on what we (as a collective) want from our organizations and governments.
March 20 – Sun enters Aries. We begin the spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere.
March 23 – Mercury conjuncts Neptune in Pisces. Be wary of seeing things through rose colored glasses, especially if you are beginning any kind of relationship. Neptune has a tendency to bypass the things we would rather not see or feel.
March is a very interesting month with so much activity in the unconscious, so pay attention to your dreams and symbols. There are subtle cues being given to all of us. The Sun, Jupiter and Neptune (being Pisces) makes for very fertile ground to create something divine. Hope you all take this opportunity to delve deeper into yourself and fall in love. Happy Spring.

Her philosophy for life and with clients is to raise consciousness to break unhealthy patterns that walk with all of us. She loves delving deep into the unconsciousness through hypnotherapy and guiding people with astrology to create potentials and possibilities.
